Barcelona,6-8 de octubre de 2022. Este workshop se propone reunir a académicos interesados en postularse para proyectos de investigación y creación en equipo, explorando los conceptos de crisis y catástrofe en la cultura, el conocimiento y el arte contemporáneo. Una vez se obtengan los resultados del workshop, la organización preparará una solicitud para la Comisión Europea y la Agencia Española de Innovación.

‘Krisis & Katastrophe’

Contemporary Art and New Narrative Structures

October 6-8, 2022

Introduction

Objective/ We would like to gather a group of scholars interested in applying for research and creative projects as a team, exploring the concepts of crisis and catastrophe in culture, knowledge, and contemporary art.

Between November and December, once we have the workshop’s results ready, we will prepare the application for the European Commission and the Spanish Agency of Innovation.

The workshop will include three types of sessions, dedicated to:

1.  presentation of papers (do not have to be original research);

2. proposals of research lines related to the project that a participant would like to develop in the future;

3. the organization of a team and the application’s outline.

The workshop will be hybrid. Participants can both attend and present either in-person or online. Participants are expected to attend the whole workshop.

Place/ Pompeu Fabra University (Ciutadella Campus). A Zoom link will be provided some days before the workshop.
